LA Fitness has been my gym for over 30 years, and they've been consistent when other gyms have come and gone. There are times when they could monitor the floor more, people using 2-3 machines or workstations at a time, having simple machine repairs take weeks or months, is unacceptable. Overall I think it's one of the best gyms available, just lost their personal touch, and attention to detail in the process of growing & expanding.
I so much wanted to do pilates, signed up, started class and quit the same day, the instructor just went on with the class as usual and I stood out like an elephant in the room! She didn't show me what to do , she just ignored me
This is a great gym! Has weights, a variety of machines, and plenty of space. The only reason I’m giving it a 3 star is because when it comes to fixing or replacing equipment, nothing is done. These machines have been out of service for over a month and probably more. Please do something about this!
LA FITNESS MEMBERS BE AWARE
STOLEN VEHICLE 9/15/2015. Stolen items are still not recovered- my vehicle keys, home keys, wallet, vehicle registration, ID and all valuables from my car/ gym bag.

This all happened between a 20 min window
Between 6:12-6:20 went to use rest room/ drop off sweater at my locker, I did notice emergency exit door near lockers was open at the end of the hall way (which leads me to believe this was also partly an inside job). 6:20-6:45 I was upstairs doing cardio, 6:51 call 911 when I noticed locker was broken into and bag, and vehicle missing by 7-7:10p they were trying to make purchases at Target and Ulta off Tyler.
6:36p the last location of my AirPods marker a location in front of Kaiser Riverside.
Moral of the story this can happen to anyone anywhere, keep and eye out and be vigilant. These people acted quickly and my gut feeling is that they had been watching and were calculated. Be safe everyone
Machines are always broken, aren’t fixed for months. Most of the staff are rude. Not friendly at all. You work in customer service. Always out of paper towels in the restroom and the disinfectant wipes. This location needs to have upgraded machines. On a positive note. some of their group class instructors are great as well as janitorial staff.
Machines (chest fly, calf, leg curl) have been broken for months. Just get a contractor out to fix them already. Free weights are also always mixed up and never re racked correctly. Men’s restroom never has paper towels or soap. Other than that it’s an ok gym!
I have been a member for 30+ years and this gym is by far THE worst run gym. The machines are constantly broken but don't get fixed. Lots of equipment are missing but don't get replaced. Bathroom is disgusting and rarely have any paper products.
They seriously need to work in the people they hire for customer service. $30 at month plus $159, and then 2 two weeks later another $59 and your $30 membership. No thanks
